Yes it is true, after seven years with this wonderful organisation I am moving on from UCB at the end of this year. I've loved my time here, the people are awesome and the vision growing. It's great knowing that as I depart UCB is in great shape for the future, under the direction of David L'Herroux and a tremdous Executive team and a great board of Trustees.
I've been feeling an ache for a while over what am I doing to reach more people for Jesus, to be honest it's not enough.
Don't get me wrong, I've been involved in many projects over the years which have seen people decide their eternity, but I haven't been focussed on this for a while. So I reflected on a crazy challenge I heard 22 years ago - to throw the net out, create projects and ideas in the UK and beyond with a long term goal of seeing 100 million people place their faith in Christ.
It sounds crazy, so me and the idea are well matched, but that will become the central main focus from now on.
There are few projects I'll be working on in the new year and have space for three or four consultancy days a month, if you know of anyone needing some help in their endeavour.
You will probably hear from me in the coming weeks as I start to formulate my thinking and prayer around this incredible challenge. I would love to hear what you would do if you were working on a challenge like this ?
