When I got the news, like everyone else yesterday, I just cried.
Even though my last post saluted the incredible response of the government, the NHS and the military in getting as many as possible vaccinated in such a short time, the thought of 100,162 lives lost, snatched hopes and dreams, I grieve for our Nation.
You will know I am a person of faith, I look forward, rarely backward, yet I despair at this news.
We need to double-down, triple down on our efforts to stop Covid. Get a vaccine, don't go out if you don't need to.
Come on people for the sake of those we've lost, let's do our part to defeat Covid.
