I remember looking at a similar graphic in 2016 and the number were quite different, new platforms have formed, the rise and fall of things I guess.
Our lives are almost entirely governed by the Internet, whether asking Google or Siri the answer to a question we used to need encyclopedias for or finding out the weather forecast, or buying something from Amazon, the internet is now an all-consuming system that dominates our lives.
It was designed to serve us, but these days I think it was designed for us to serve it.
