It is sad to watch the slow demise of those famous people around you who have been there the whole of your life.
Some say he had a barbed tongue yet a sharp whit, that he was intolerant of excuses and wanted to be done what had been agreed.
Love or hate him, he was the Queen's consort and unwavering performed that role the whole of his married life.
I'm sure we could all take a leaf out of his book when it comes to loyalty and servanthood.
