We had the largest engagement we have ever had during this week of prayer.
Years ago Prayer Week did really well to fill two Cathedrals and have a national tour for seven consecutive nights. We're talking of a time, where the internet was in its early stages, we were still selling CD's of the audio of some of the events, not having the budget to video anything.
Here we are fifteen years later where covid has certainly forced a very different approach, but one that has allowed us to touch the lives of more people than ever imagined.
Working with Leading the Way UK, we were able over the week to engage with the equivalent of one and a half packed out Wembley stadiums, more than 110,000 people.
The world has changed and so have we.
