We've always intended to do a Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall and after several years of procrasinating, we finally did it, and did it in style.
Taking a family with us and both of Reuben's grandmothers, we set off for London, staying outside of the M25 overnight and then travelling into London in a private hire minibus for the day, for an incredible £160.
Booking seats close to the event would have made it impossible for the eight of us to sit together, so I bit the bullet and booked a box, with some catering, which did end up saving us the cost of a meal out for eight in London.
It's not something we'll do for a while again, but it was a lovely Christmas treat, especially as we're not rushing off before Christmas for a week in the sun somewhere. It all balanced out in the end.
I've put a short video below of the evening, it was SPECTACULAR.
The London Christian Gospel Choir is amazing.
